House Band Fall 2018
Monday, Aug 27th from 6-8pm at the Encinitas school
Tuesday, Aug 28th from 6-8pm at the San Diego school
*You only need to attend one of these auditions!*
*You need to stay for everyone to audition*
Requirements:
-Must have completed at least one full season show with us
-Must audition on the instrument that you take lessons on
-Must be in a show to participate
-Must bring in signed Code of Conduct to lesson (Located in the HB tab)
Audition Guidelines:
-Perform 3 minutes of a Classic Rock song by Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, The Who, Black Sabbath, Heart, Fleetwood Mac, Janis Joplin, Pink Floyd, or Jimi Hendrix (You CAN play to a backing track for this part)
-Music Theory/Improv Questions. You will be asked 3 short theory questions or improv requests
Performances will be evaluated on Tone, Feel, Accuracy, Knowledge of Theory, and Reliability/Attitude
