First Rehearsal: October 13th, 2022
What is left to be said about Prince? He’s a musical genius, instrumental prodigy, and hit-maker extraordinaire. He put more music out in the world than all of your favorite bands and he often played all the instruments himself! Sure, we’ll play some of his greatest hits, but we’ll also dig deep to find his funkiest fan favorites. With shredding guitar, funky bass, groovy drums, incredible vocals, and experimental keys, this is a fantastic show for every instrument!
JUDAS PRIEST
Rehearses: Saturdays, 11am-1:30pm
First Rehearsal: October 15th, 2022
Forming only months after pioneers Black Sabbath, Judas Priest are one of the earliest and most influential metal bands of all time. They pushed the boundaries of metal during the 70s, became a huge commercial success in the 80s, and still pack arenas to this day. To celebrate them being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, we’re giving Judas Priest their own show for the first time. This is a challenging show for all instruments, but there will be no keys-parts in this show.
THE GO-GO’s
Rehearses: Saturdays 2-4:30pm
First Rehearsal: October 15th, 2022
The Go-Go’s broke through barrier after barrier to become the most successful all female rock band in history, but that’s only part of the story. They also took their punk influences and combined them with their catchy songwriting to become an unstoppable radio staple of the 80s. After being inducted into the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame in 2020, they’ve reunited and are bigger than ever! This is a great show for all skill levels and all instruments.
